investingLive alternative: the news, sorted by your instrument

By NewsPips ResearchPublished 5 min read

investingLive gives you the news as it breaks, written up by its analysts in a live feed. NewsPips gives you what that news means for the instrument you trade: every story sorted by instrument into one directional bias reading for each of fourteen markets, rewritten about once an hour, each driver linked to the story behind it, and a single alert when the reading flips. Keep investingLive for the first take on a headline. Add NewsPips so you know where your pair stands without scrolling for it.

investingLive

  1. Headline lands
  2. A writer posts it
  3. You scroll and sort

NewsPips

  1. Every story read
  2. Sorted by instrument
  3. One reading, one alert

Keep both: the feed for the first take, NewsPips for where your pair stands.

Where the work splits: a live feed gives you every headline as it lands; NewsPips sorts the same flow by instrument into one reading, and says when it turns.

What a fast feed leaves to you

investingLive, which traders knew for years as ForexLive, is built for speed. It calls itself a real-time market news and analysis platform, its analysts write around the clock, and every post carries a name and a timestamp. It covers forex, stocks, commodities and crypto, the feed is free to read, and Premium members get real-time alerts and direct analyst insights in its Telegram channels.

A feed's strength is also the work it hands back to you. In the live feed, posts on every market arrive in one stream, newest first. A post on Japanese wages, one on an oil inventory build, a central bank speaker, a stock that missed its earnings: you scroll past the ones that do not touch your pair and hold the ones that do in your head. Some of them pull your instrument one way, some the other, and the feed does not add them up.

That adding up is the part that decides how you read the market, and it is still yours to do. Miss an hour and you have an hour of posts to catch up on before you know where things stand.

What NewsPips does with the same news

NewsPips reads the same flow of news and does the sorting and the adding up for you.

Sorted by instrument, not by time. Each event's coverage becomes one story, and NewsPips records, for every instrument the story bears on, which way it pushes and why. A wages print in Japan lands on USD/JPY; an inventory build lands on Brent and WTI; a Fed speaker can land on gold, the dollar index and every dollar pair at once, each assessed separately.

One reading per instrument, kept current. Fourteen markets: the FX majors, gold and silver, Brent and WTI crude, the dollar index, bitcoin and ether. Each has a directional bias on a five-step scale from bearish to bullish, rewritten about once an hour, so an hour away costs you one glance, not an hour of scrolling.

Every driver sourced. Each analysis names its drivers, each with a direction and the story behind it, the risks with their horizon, and what to watch next, including the next scheduled release and its forecast. Each driver links to the story behind it, and each story lists the articles that reported it, linked to their outlets. How it all fits together is set out in how a NewsPips reading is made.

An alert when it matters, not one per headline. When the reading on an instrument you follow turns decisively bullish or bearish, you get one message with the old and the new reading, the recent price move and what the news behind it says: by email or in the browser on every plan, and on Telegram with Pro and Analyst.

Watches in plain English. Ask NewsPips to watch for anything that could move oil out of the Strait of Hormuz, or any sign the Bank of Japan is about to act. It checks every story from then on and tells you when one matches.

Ask why. NewsPilot, the assistant inside NewsPips, answers questions about any reading from the record and cites the stories it used. It comes with Pro and Analyst.

A calendar mapped to your instruments. Every release on the NewsPips calendar lists the instruments it moves and why. Filter the week to your pair and set a reminder; the economic calendar, explained shows what each column means.

A public record. Every day NewsPips has read since July 22, 2026 is published on the markets pages, with the readings made at the time, so you can check the record before you pay.

Eleven languages. Every reading is available in each, Arabic included, laid out right to left.

investingLive and NewsPips together

A feed and a reading do different jobs, and together they cover the day:

  1. When a headline breaks, investingLive's writers explain it fast. Read the take.
  2. Then check NewsPips: the story is scored for every instrument it touches, and the next reading on your pair takes it in.
  3. When you have been away, skip the scroll. One look at each of your instruments shows where it stands and which stories put it there.
  4. When the direction turns, the bias-flip alert reaches you by email, in the browser or on Telegram, with what the news behind it says.

investingLive is free to read and fast, and its writers' first take on a headline is worth having; keep it open for that. Add NewsPips for what a feed cannot give you on its own: every story sorted by the instrument it moves, one reading for each, and a message when it turns.

You can try it without paying. The free plan reads every instrument's latest analysis, sends bias-flip alerts on two instruments by email or in the browser and runs two watches, fifteen minutes behind. Pro takes the delay away and adds alerts on every instrument, Telegram, the full history and NewsPilot, and its first 30 days are free with no card. The plans are compared line by line on pricing.

See the readings before you decide

Every market page is public, with the stories behind each reading. Real-time alerts on every instrument, Telegram, the full history and NewsPilot come with Pro, free for 30 days.
