Aussie drops to lowest since mid-October on dovish RBA outlook: Nov 6, 2026
The Australian dollar has seen choppy trade, falling at times on a dovish RBA outlook and a stronger US dollar, while advancing when Australia's trade surplus widened and the US dollar dipped. It recently broke below 0.6950 to its lowest level since mid-October, as RBA official Hauser said inflation remains too high and a post-midterm slide in the US dollar added to cross-currents.
