Brent bias turned bullish on October 10, 2026

Brent is holding above $100 as tensions around Iran and attacks on shipping in the Persian Gulf and Strait of Hormuz, including a supertanker hitting a mine and a second ship struck in three days, have pushed tanker traffic to a two-month low. War and hurricane risks are keeping crude prices elevated, while a pause in attacks on Iran and a restart of fuel exports from China have at times pulled oil prices lower.
