US Dollar Index bias flipped 19 times to neutral on October 13, 2026

The US Dollar Index climbed to 17- to 18-month highs near 102.50, lifted by hawkish Federal Reserve rhetoric and the failure of the energy ceasefire, while the euro fell below 1.12. It has since eased from that peak and turned sideways as hopes for a Russia-Ukraine energy ceasefire resurfaced, with focus shifting to upcoming Fed speakers.
