WTI holds above $101 as Middle East tensions stay high: Oct 29, 2026
WTI has picked up above $101.00 after snapping a two-day losing streak, with high Middle East tensions in focus including the threat of new U.S. strikes on Iran and talk around the Ras Tanura attack. Prices remain above $100 a barrel as the market weighs oil flowing out of the Gulf and record-high U.S. production and surging gasoline inventories against Gulf flows still below prewar levels.
