USD/CAD bias flipped 5 times to bullish on September 29, 2026

The Canadian dollar has slipped to its lowest level since July 9 around 1.4200 against the US dollar, pressured by expectations of a further widening in the US-Canada rate gap and a flat GDP reading. Softer oil prices and differing views among Fed officials on the timing of rate moves have also weighed on the currency, while Scotiabank puts fair value for USDCAD at 1.4068.
